While the bar may seem appealing from the exterior , what I encountered behind its doors was appalling and beyond comprehension .

The surfaces were tacky , and a foul smell of old alcohol and neglected washrooms permeated the entire bar . Emitting a scent of a mixture of excrement , old age and illness . The bar area , which should be the focal point of any pub, was littered with unwashed glassware and litter that looked like it hadn’t been touched in ages .
